The party grew dead quietThen Daisy said at last‘Why, such a grand ribbonNeeds a gift to match!’

So Pluto fetched a grand pianoAnd placed the bow on topBut when it wouldn’t fit beneath the treeThey knew they’d have to swap

The new tree was all trimmedWhen Donald Duck spoke up‘Sure the tree is merryBut is it merry enough?’

They added twice the garlandFour time as many lightsBut then a strange thing happenedEverything else looked half as bright!

So they strung a few more bulbsHalf a million or soUntil Cinderella CastleWas perfectly aglow!

The entire party was glitteringWhen Donald Duck spoke up‘Sure, the lights are merryBut are they merry enough?’

Santa flew in quite promptlyFor such a ‘busy’ manHe brought eight dancing reindeerAnd entire North Pole caravan

He surveyed the party quicklyGave a hearty ho, ho, ho!

And within a couple secondsAll around was falling snow!

Everyone was twirlingUntil Donald Duck spoke up

‘Sure, the snow is merryBut is it merry enough?’

‘Why, this isn’t merry at all!’Mickey Mouse exclaimed‘This Christmas is Very Merry!’And so his party was named

Soon Chip was making cookiesDale was baking treatsAs real toy soldiers stretchedFor their big march down Main Street

And they waited...
