IntroductionAn activity for 5th and 6th grade students to explore the world

outside of rural Egg Harbor City. Student will be given a budget to spend on a destination of their choice. Here is your chance to visit anywhere in the world!

1. Students will gather three facts about their destination.2. Students will use travel sites to gather prices for their hotel

expenses, airfare, area attractions, currency and cultural events.3. Students will keep track of their spending in an Excel

spreadsheet.4. Students will find a recipe from their destination that is

authentic to the country to duplicate and bring in.5. Students will create a map using Google maps that will show the

areas that were visited.6. Students will create a travel video to persuade others to visit

their destination.7. Students will create a movie poster that gives a preview to their

video.
