ODBOJKA PIRAN
Presentation of the clubThe volleyball section was established in 1992. Until then there was no organized train-ing for women in the Munici-pality of Piran.
Every year, organized volley-ball training is attended by over a hundred girls from the 1st grade of elementary school on. In national championships we compete with all selec-tions, but we also have a recre-ational group.
Volleyball training is also con-ducted at all elementary schools in the municipality of Piran.
We do not stop practicing during the summer. We prac-tice beach volleyball then.
In the previous years of train-ing, we were state sponsors for cadets. So far, we have been national vice-champions in cadets.
We won the quarter-finals in the Cup and many tourna-ments. We received recogni-tion for the team of the year, we won the titles of national champions in girls and cadets in beach volleyball.
The cadets also ranked the
European Championship. This
is only part of the successes we
are most proud of.
Most importantly, the girls are
dealing with something. They
are happy and grow up in a
healthy and safe environment
of volleyball.
Our personnel is a well
trained in training. It encom-
passes professors of sports
education and coaches with
the state exams.
In our ranks we also have
volleyball judges with a valid
license.

Season’s achievements
In the previous competitive season, 2016/17, a member team in the 3rd National league won the first place and was ranked in the 2nd National league, in which this season will perform. Cadets competed in the A National league, for which they will fight this year as well.

Our goals
Younger teams will
compete in all categories
of the national champi-
onship in this season
and try to rank as high
as possible. A member
team will perform in the
2nd National league
with the aim of being
ranked in the upper part
of the scale, and thereby
the possibility of being
ranked in the 1stB
National league in the
next season.
On the initiative of the
players and their parents,
we want to revive beach
volleyball practice and
succeed in this area again.
To achieve this goal, we
plan to build the play-
ground in the sand on the

The society operates in the public interest and is partially co-financed from the municipal budget for the imple-mentation of the pro-gram. However, the share of co-financing by the municipality is lower every year and does not allow the entire society to function. That is why we ask you for your help.
You can help us with sponsorship, donations, or grants in the form of money, transport, vari-ous services or products. We will be pleased if you contact us to agree on the form of assistance.
In return, we can offer you advertising on our web pages, on the Facebook page, banners at home matches in the Lucija sports hall, and in the future playground in the sand on the cape of Seča.
