Background
Sponsorship Benefits Include
Annual Member Publication
AMCO has been using a sponsorship approach for many
years now. Since 2008, approximately 37 sponsors have
been supporting AMCO at this event. These sponsors are
in addition to the host airport and the community it
represents.
AMCO’s sponsoring opportunities are tailored to each
sponsor’s budget. This enables everyone to be part of the
program. When co-sponsors all provide the same dollar
value for an event, names are listed in alphabetical order.
When the dollar amounts differ, names are listed from the
greatest contribution to the lesser.
First right of refusal on the same component for the following year, assuming the component is available. This is must be confirmed by Dec. 31 and will be invoiced the following January for payment;
A list of all sponsors appears on the front cover of AMCO’s annual membership publication which has the convention agenda on its back cover. Sponsorships must be purchased prior to Aug. 31 of Convention year to be included;
The logos of convention sponsors remain on the website throughout the year;
Recognition from the podium during the convention;
Recognition in the PowerPoint presentation that runs during the event;
The total number of years as a sponsor is indicated in gold on the company’s representative’s name badge at the convention, in years that a sponsorship is received;
Sponsor will be thanked in the November E-Zine edition, which reaches beyond AMCO members;
Varying additional benefits based on sponsorship amounts can be found in the chart on page 3.
Sponsors are listed on the front cover of AMCO’s annual member publication that is provided at each year’s convention. It communicates to the membership the following:
President’s Message which sums up the year’s activities;
The previous year’s audited statements;
Minutes of the previous year’s annual general meeting;
Notice and agenda of the current year’s annual general meeting;
A list of honourary members;
A list of previous convention locations;
AMCO office and staff contact information;
The membership directory; and,
The back cover outlines the convention’s agenda.
Sponsors names are listed on the front cover. As this publication is referred to by members throughout the year, it is considered an advertising opportunity with a long shelf life.
