Complete assignments in the order provided above.

Many of the students have already completedmost of the assignments. New assignments havebeen added to the list that no one has completedyet.

Look at the section called “Learn To Code”.This will display what the student has completedor still needs to complete. No students are workingon beginner level, it’s too easy.

Students should be starting at the recommended section listed on thesummary page for each grade level.

Once the student hasmastered 90% accuracy or better with their typingof that Lesson, then theymaymove on to the next one. Otherwise, try again.

The 5th & 6th grade students had been working on a project, of their choice, for the final quarter.

In addition to the class outline, the students could work on one of the following programs, develop a plan for creation and whatwould be the final outcome, providing that they would have a computer to work from and develop their projects.

As the parent, you may or may not want to have your child spend time on this project, or any expense that would come with it.

Some of the software used for these projects are free, on a trial basis, or some have a cost, also you can decide if you choose to gothat direction.

These projects are designed to give exposure to software that have real world applications in which the students would use todisseminate information in a creative and interesting way to capture the audience attention.

The main idea behind this project is that the students are learning a software that could be useful.

My goal is to provide video lessons for some of the software, but due to time constraints, I may not be able to get to all of them.Currently I have Anime Studio Debut online.

Here is the list of the project choices, programs that go with those projects, T for a trial software, a $ if it is a paid software. Eachsoftware is ranked from top to bottom by easiest to use to a stronger learning curve.

Please review the software before downloading for your child, if you choose to do so.

This should be a good experience learning about a software, or similar, that they may want to use in the future.
