Terumot HaKodesh– Sacred Tribute Gifts

We are so grateful for the generous and thoughtful contributions to Chizuk Amuno Congregation or one of our schools in honor or in memory of loved ones and friends, to wish a speedy recovery, or to express appreciation.

In our sacred community each contribution is understood as terumat hakodesh—a sacred tribute gift. These different offerings sustain and enrich the life of our community, and are a meaningful way to acknowledge occasions and milestones.

Sacred Tribute Gifts and contributions to Chizuk Amuno Congregation can be made by contacting our synagogue office, 410/486-6400.

If you are interested in establishing a named endowment fund to commemorate an individual or occasion, please contact Laurel Freedman, Director of Congregational Advancement, ext. 275.

We thank the more than 40 individuals whose thoughtfulness is demonstrated by this lovely gesture.

Message from the Annual Appeal Chair

T he commitment of our members to Chizuk Amuno and to our Annual Appeal has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to our congregation. It has enabled us to maintain our vibrant synagogue built upon the pillars of nding meaning, strengthening faith, and building community. Our entire membership benets from the generosity of our donors. During these challenging times, our synagogue has been a source of support and comfort for all of our members. True to our traditions, we have continued to provide quality congregational and school programs. anks to the generosity of our donors we were able to expand our ability to provide nancial aid to families, individuals, and students so that all who wish to participate in the life of our community were able to do so comfortably.

In addition to the 1,200 donors who participated in this year’s campaign, I would like to also express my gratitude to all of the members of the Annual Appeal Committee and the Board of Trustees who helped us to accomplish all that we were able to during this past year. ank you for making Chizuk Amuno a philanthropic priority.Sincerely,

Shelly MalisAnnual Appeal Chair
