Requests for Thoughts & Prayers

The Women’s Council of Realtors Annual Golf Tournament was a huge success! We would like to thank David Monsour and his committee for doing an outstanding job putting it together! The weather was sunny and warm and our Sponsors had food and drink at the different holes and the golfers were primed and ready for a fun day of golfing. Golf Rider generously donated a golf cart to us to auction off! Deborah Bishop was the lucky bidder on the golf cart!

Our next Business Resource Meeting is December 10th where we will be presenting Promise Place a check as a donation from part of the proceeds of the golf tournament. The tournament also helps WCR be able to provide education to our members through C.E. certificates as well as helping our Board go to GAR and NAR Conferences so that they can keep our members up to date on what is happening in Real Estate at the State and National level.

So, mark your calendar for December 10, 8:30 at the Wyndham, for our Installation of 2010 Officers and Christmas Program!

See you then!

Congratulations

Congratulations to Vanessa Fleisch on her election to PTC Post 4. Vanessa Fleisch was declared the winner on

Nov 3rd, with a 58%-42% margin.

To quote Vanessa:

“I am glad that the people will have a voice on the Peachtree City Council that reflects their wishes and

puts us back on the right track. I would like to thank the REALTOR® community for being so supportive of

my efforts throughout the campaign.”

Safety is a Year-Round Priority for REALTORS®

NAR is committed to help educate and empower every one of our 1.3 million members to ensure that they make good choices and practice personal safety on the job.

Look For REALTORS® Safety Tips in each upcoming issue of the Friday Facts.

Establish an office distress code. Create a voice distress code, a secret word or phrase that is not commonly used but can be worked into any conversation for cases where you feel that you are in danger. Use this if the person you are with can overhear the conversation, but you don’t want to alarm them. Example: “Hi, this is Jennifer. I’m with Mr. Henderson at the Elm Street listing. Could you email me the RED FILE?”

Take 2 seconds when you arrive at your destination to check out potential dangers:

Is there any questionable activity in the area?

Are you parked in a well-lit, visible location?

Can you be blocked in the driveway by another vehicle?
