which case Masses and Adoration will take place as scheduled.

A young woman who was contemplating an abortion watched her catechism teacher go to make a Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament. She followed him there and found the courage to keep her baby. Twenty-eight years later she told him this story and introduced her daughter to him. What difference does it make if we persevere in prayer? Call 816-719-2293

or just come and see Wednesday 9 AM to 10 PM and Fri-day 9 AM to 6 PM.

Bring bread or wine you will serve at Thanksgiving dinner to be blessed during Mass on November 28, 2019 at 9:00 am. We are also collecting nonperisha-ble food items for the those in need during the offertory procession.

How will St. Ann benefit from the campaign? St. Ann will receive 25% of the funds that are collected from its parishioners up to the parish target. These funds will be allocated to fund creation of a Master Plan including architectural, liturgical and other potential fees with emphasis on; acoustical study of the church and recommendations to improve space acoustics. Review alternatives to modify the church sanctuary to improve the liturgical experience. Review alternatives to renovate the existing YCC building. Add monies to the building maintenance fund. Funds collected will be dispersed eve-ry six months. In addition, support of our priests and evangelization efforts will greatly benefit every Catholic family.

Stay In Touch Campaign

“…Rather, we wanted to present ourselves as a model for you, so that you might imitate us.” - 2 Thess 3:9 Most people who live a grateful and generous lifestyle don’t go around bragging about it. But through their actions and words, others do take notice. They notice because of the

joy and peace that results and other people desire this in their own life. Know that the way you live your life may be the only interaction others have with our Catholic faith. Spirit of Giving Appeal 2020 Results as of November 11, 2019 # Cards Returned: 126 Pledge Amount: $370,538.00 Please return your complete offertory commitment card in the collection or drop in the parish mailbox during the week.

Legion of Mary Needs You

Update your parish record by logging into our parish data-base and creating a user pro-file. Make sure we have the correct phone, email and ad-dress information. Create your profile by Novem-ber 30th and be entered in our 2nd raffle drawing. The No-

vember drawing will be for the beautiful Chihuly print on display in the parish office. Go to www.stannpv.org/stayintouch. Follow the step-by-step directions and update your records. Call the parish office if you have questions or need help: 913-660-1184.

Please label your sack or box of clothing to identify the contents (for example: women’s clothing, men’s clothing, shoes, baby clothes). This is most helpful in sorting the donations.

Did you know the first and foremost purpose of the Legion of Mary is Personal Sanctification? Our mission is you first and then to help others get to Heaven. We do all kinds of church work of your choice to accomplish this. Text or Call Joyce Miller to find out more at 913 787 7687.

The St. Ann Knights of Columbus and Catholic Charities will be hosting a Frozen Turkey Drive next weekend, No-vember 23rd and 24th, before and after each mass. Please bring your frozen turkey to the Catholic Charities truck located in the North parking lot.

Mothers of Young Children

Love it or not, technology is here to stay. As parents, we have the power to make a positive influence on our chil-dren's online activities. We can make the choice to equip ourselves with knowledge to help our children navigate the challenges that they will face. Give your children the gift of being prepared! Join us for an evening of education and encourage-ment, as we learn strategies to empower our children to make healthy online decisions. We welcome Heidi Olson, RN, BSN, CPN and SANE Program Manager at Children's Mercy, as she explores:

• open communication about social media use

• strategies parents can use to protect/prepare chil-dren to deal with dangerous online images

• current information/statistics on technology trends and their influence upon self-esteem, body image, abuse and relationships

All are welcome, please bring a friend. Light refresh-ments and beverages included! Brought to you by the Faith & Discipleship Committee. For questions con-tact Jill Bleything at jillbleything at yahoo.com.
