Rosa Parks started the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s.

Rosa Parks started the Civil Rights Movement by being arrested for not leaving her bus seat.

The Civil Rights Movement was started by Rosa Parks in the 1950s.

She started the bus boycott by not giving up her seat. Because of this, Martin Luther King continued where Rosa left off and became the leader of the Civil Rights Movement. 

That is how sitting in a bus seat can change the world for millions of people.

I think Rosa Parks means when she says that questions are more important than answers is that asking questions will allow someone to become smarter than a person who thinks they know all the answers. 

I feel Rosa Parks is a smart woman because she continues to try and learn new things all of the time. She is trying to learn about computers, the internet, and swimming.  

My advice for a person who is being made fun of for being smart is to ignore them since your hard work will pay off later in life.  

One different way that Rosa Parks was able to overcome her illnesses as a child was by learning from her grandmother. Here she learned the importance of respect.

I would agree with Rosa because some of the topics from the 60's such as equality are still talked about today. This shows how people have not really changed much through the years. 

I feel that Rosa's message about the United States is still useful to hear because we still have the same problems about homelessness, race relations, and violence in 2017. 

I feel the overall theme of the different letters is effort and courage. I think this because Rosa talks about how she is not perfect at everything, yet she is still trying to learn.
