Lads to Leaders & Leaderettes Showcase During service on Wednesday, May 16 we will have our first ever
Lads to Leaders & Leaderettes Showcase. Come support our future
church leaders as they read scripture, speak, and lead
singing. In addition we will have a short recognition
and awards presentation for those who participated
last year. Please join us; you will be inspired and
amazed by what they can do!

No Food or Drinks… As a reminder,
please DO NOT bring anything other than water
or snacks for small children into the auditorium.
Providing coffee has been discontinued due to class
disruption and coffee spills.
SonQuest Registration The dates for this year’s SonQuest are Friday, August 31—Sunday, September 2.
There will not be a bulletin board sign-up. Please use the link you received via
email. We will have to book rooms immediately after the sign up deadline so we
cannot allow any late registrations. The cost will be $100.00 which includes trans-
portation, hotel, breakfast Saturday/Sunday, event registration and event t-shirt.
You do not have to pay now; this is just to book a spot. $50.00 must be paid by July
29 and the balance by August 26. In addition to the $100, you will need to bring
money for your other meals. If someone wants to go and does not have internet
access for registering, they need to sign up directly with Matt Bancroft.
Honduras Fundraiser Auction
Our Annual Honduras Auction & Talent Show Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday,
June 9. We have 58 of our members going to Honduras for two weeks next month
where they will build 40 or more houses, feed, clothe, and teach the poor. Baskets
are being put together for the Auction. Pick up one of the list of donation ideas
from the main bulletin board along with the letter for soliciting from business own-
ers. You can help by baking a special dessert, getting donations from businesses, or
just giving us cash and letting us shop for you. Give the money to Gina Betz or
Tonia Boyer. All donations must be turned in no later than Sunday, May 27. Let
the office know what you are baking so we can have signage ready.

Keith’s Kitchen…
Keith’s Kitchen is an op-
portunity to support our
work in Honduras. Each
Wednesday at 6:15PM
Keith prepares a deli-
cious meal. The teens help with the
dessert, drinks and clean-up. All
proceeds go to the accounts of stu-
dents who help. There is no set fee
but your generous checks should be
made to Tampa Youth Missions.
Dessert this week is Baird, Steiner,
Boyer.

CJ Hunter, (son of Tami & Charles
Milner & Clayton Hunter) received
his B.S. in Business Administration
and his Masters of Arts in Interna-
tional Business from UF last week-
end. He has committed to “Teach
for America” for two years and will
be in Jacksonville.
Hayden Manuel graduated with her
A.A. degree and a 3.9 GPA from
Santa Fe College last weekend. She
is now officially a Florida Gator and
will pursue a degree in Journalism/
Public Relations.
Janise Ilion, one of our seniors, has
received her CMA/CMAA and CNA
nursing certificates.

Golden Heirs Luncheon…
A luncheon is planned for our new
Golden Heirs Ministry on Saturday,
June 2 at the Retreat House at 11:30.
