Your choice to join us in worship to God is a blessing to us. It is our privilege to welcome you this morning. If you have not previously worshipped with the Northwest Tampa Church of Christ, we would like to familiarize you with our service. If you have children, we have excep-tional care for them during the worship hour so that you can focus on your spiritual development:
K-4th Grade “Kids Kingdom” located in Fellowship-2 4-5 Year Olds “Children’s Worship” located in Room 9 3 Year Olds “Children’s Worship” located in Room 7 2 Year Old “Nursery” located in Room 5 Infants “Nursery” located in Room 4
Both nurseries are beautiful and clean with space for them to play and be nurtured.
Our style of worship is simple, patterned after the examples and teachings of the earliest Christians in the New Testament.
Note: Parents should leave to pick up their kids at the end of the Invitation song.
BEGIN THE EXTRA MILE PROCESS
If I walk in the pathway of duty, if I work till the close of the day; I shall see the great
King in His beauty, when I’ve gone the last mile of the way. If for Christ I proclaim
the glad story, if I seek for His sheep gone astray, I am sure He will show me His
glory, when I’ve gone the last mile of the way. And if here I have earnestly striven,
and have tried all His will to obey, ‘twil enhance all the rapture of Heaven, when I’ve
gone the last mile of the way. When I’ve gone the last mile of the way, I will rest at
the close of the day, and I know there are joys that await me, when I’ve gone the
last mile of the way.
Our church theme for 2013 is “THE EXTRA MILE“. The first thing is to begin to walk
the first mile, check to see if you are on the right road, (Matt. 7:13-14), then make
sure you are following the RULES of the road (Ps. 1:1-2, 1 Jn. 1:6-7, 2 Cor.5:7). We
must dedicate and promise to give our lives totally to the Lord (Matt. 6:33, Mk.
12:30, 2 Cor. 8:5). Then, start walking the first mile (Eph. 2:10, Eph. 5:8-10, Gal.
5:22-25, Jn. 15:8).
As you grow or while you are growing with the Lord
walking the first mile, you understand from reading,
studying, bible classes, and preaching that there is a
second mile, an EXTRA MILE you need to walk on your
way to “ THE LAST MILE OF THE WAY” (Matt. 5:38-44,
Eph. 4:3, Gal. 6:1-2, 1Cor. 12:25-26). You can’t go the
last mile with the Lord until you have walked the first
and second mile.

Keith’s Kitchen…
Keith’s Kitchen is an op-
portunity to support our
work in Honduras. Each
Wednesday at 6:15PM
Keith prepares a deli-
cious meal. The teens help with the
dessert, drinks and clean-up. All
proceeds go to the accounts of stu-
dents who help. There is no set fee
but your generous checks should be
made to Tampa Youth Missions.

NLBS...
"You yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house..." — 1 Peter 2:5 God wants to work an amazing transformation in your life. Transformed to look like Jesus, God longs to fill our hearts with Living Stone faith. Faith that is solid, strong, and surrendered. The world offers us a less messy, less costly version of faith – Pet Rock faith. Living Stone faith or Pet Rock faith? That is the challenge and call of Peter’s message. Do we want living faith or easy faith? Do we want transformation or a top coat? Do we want a faith that can move mountains or makes a pretty pic-ture? Do we want a faith that looks like Jesus or looks at Jesus from a distance? If you plan to attend the Neighborhood Ladies Bible Class this winter, please indicate by signing up on the bulletin board across from the office. Indicate if you will need childcare for a child under 6 years old. NLBS will begin Wednesday, January 23rd at 10:00AM in Fellow-ship-2. We will be using the study guide by Casandra Martin entitled Living Stones; cost for this study guide is $10. Please see Rama Pat-terson or Mary Ann Forcht to get your study guide.

Youth Rally...
This year’s youth rally will be January
25-26 and will feature B. Chris Simpson
as our keynote speaker. We will need
volunteers for many things, so please
take the time now to plan accordingly
so that you might be able to help!
There will be a sign-up on the board
outside Matt’s office for our own teens
who would like to attend the rally. As
always, it is free for the youth group
members who bring a friend.
Change for Children Campaign...
Please turn in your filled cans by Sun-
day, January 20. Lisa Snelling will be
collecting them or you can drop them
off in the church office #1. If your can
is full and you would like to start an-
other one, we have extras in the cabi-
net in the lobby or see Lisa or Shirley.
Lisa will be turning them in to Mt. Dora
Christian Home & Bible School after
January 20, 2013.
Adopt-A-Road Clean Up...
Our next Adopt-A-Road clean up will be
Saturday, January 19. We will meet at
the building at 4:00PM and be done
before dark. Maybe Steak & Shake af-
terwards?
