Designed for the WorstDesigned for extended use in the most difficult duties, Techniflo pumps can be used with confidence on a full range of extremely corrosive, hazardous, toxic, explosive and dangerous chemicals.

The Techniflo is a complete range of non-metallic sealless magdrive and sealed centrifugal pumps. Sealless mag-drive pumps means zero leakage. Techniflo mag-drive pumps have no mechanical seals or packed glands. Fluid is hermetically sealed from the driving end and the driving power is transmitted via magnetic force with powerful synchronous magnets.Sealed non-metallic pumps are an effective solution for corrosive particle laden fluids with a wide range of seal designs for applications where mag-drive design pumps are not viable from a budget perspective or suffer from excessive wear.All of the wetted parts in a Techniflo pump are chemically resistant and various combinations of engineered plastics, high grade ceramics, silicon carbide, and carbons are available depending on the application.

TB Series

Techniflo mag drive lined pumps – TB seriesThe Techniflo non-metallic, mag drive lined pumps ensure reliable transfer for even the most corrosive chemicals. Thanks to innovative fluid path designs TB pumps can reliably pump both filtered and contaminated corrosive chemicals with the additional complication of abrasive suspended solids when required. The absence of a complex sealing system reduces operating costs and increases MTBF providing peace of mind for specifiers and operators globally.

Technical Illustration

One drive size per motor frame. Simple keyless design means assembly with motor shaft is quick and easy.Magnets bolted and sealed inside 316 stainless steel carrier.

Outer Magnet Assembly One-piece carbon fibre Teflon moulding for a combination ofstrength and chemical resistance.Patented reinforced socket for shaft mounting. Outer pressure housing made from a Kevlar composite.

Containment Shell

Dual carbon graphite or Sintered silicon carbide. Individually replaceable and flexibly-mounted for full alignment with shaft.

Radial BearingsUnique one-piece design with magnets potted and sealed inside 316 stainless steel cover, and all encapsulated in Teflon for optimum chemical resistance.

Impeller/ Mag Capsule

Mates flanged motors to the pump. Can mount a range of sizes directly without spacer plates. Integral foot mates to existing ANSI base plates.All mounting bolts conveniently accessed from outside the adapter to simplify motor/pump mating.

Adapter Extra heavy-duty one-piece cast ductile iron casting.Precisely aligns and supports the containment shell in the casing. Is separate from the adapter to allow servicing motor without opening the liquid end of the pump.

Containment Ring

Replaceable, straight, sintered silicon carbide shaft cantilevered from the containment shell.Oversized to safely handle all load combinations.Cantilever design leaves impeller suction open for best possible performance.

Shaft

Top centreline discharge, one-piece cast ductile iron with bonded Teflon lining. Lining minimum of 1/8" (3.175mm).Provides nearly universal corrosión resistance and extremely low maintenance.Casing drain is standard.

The Techniflo SC Series is a heavy duty centrifugal pump range designed specifically to handle corrosive and aggressive fluids. An epoxy coated outer cast iron split casing supports a highly stable and robust PVDF or polypropylene liner. The Techniflo SC pumps have semi-open impellers and are available with either single or double mechanical seals for the most demanding applications both in terms of corrosion and suspended particles. Mechanical seals are designed for on-site replacement if required. Pumps are also available in vertical column sump pump design.

Flows to 500 m3/hr and heads to 100 m.

Technical Features Exceptionally robust design. Replaceable Inner volute casing and back plate. External ductile iron epoxy coated volute isolated from the pumped fluid. ISO dimensional pump range to allow for drop in replacement for existing

ISO pumps. ANSI flange drilling alternative. Robust and abrasion resistant PVDF or Polypropylene inner casings. Multiple mechanical seal options with no metallic components in fluid path.

Single external seal and double seal with thermosiphon designs. Injection moulded inner casing and impeller for maximum structural

strength and density. No metallic components in the fluid path.

Semi-open impeller designed to handle dirty fluids. MOC: high density injected PVDF or polypropylene. Excellent chemical resistance.

Mechanical Seal Options: a. Single external mechanical seal with no wetted metallic parts, suitable for clean fluids. b. Double mechanical seal with no wetted metallic parts and barrier fluid to ensure lubrication of seal faces and avoid crystallization. Designed for dirty fluids, pickling fluids, cristalizing fluids.

Robust bearing housing with internal epoxi coating and magnetic drain plug.

Oversized stainless Steel shaft protected by a non-metallic shaft sleeve.

ISO standard construction, optional ANSI flanges.

Heavy Duty split casing with double epoxy coating, not in contact with the fluid.

Mag drive lined pumpsThe PW-C pump series is a reliable mid-size general service pump range designed for tanker unloading and transfer duties of corrosive chemicals. The U-Mag pump range is aimed at replacement of alternative technology chemical pumps with slotted flanges enabling compatibility with ANSI, ISO o JIS piping connections.
