This Advertising Bulletin will be published and uploaded to the school website. In addition, flyers may also be distributed and as we have approximately 200 families at St Joseph’s, you would need to provide this number for distribution of one flyer per family. Certain advertisements will still appear in the school newsletter such as: Take Home Meals, Netball, Creative Music etc. Discretion may be used for some community based, not for profit organisations. Advertisements should be submitted in WORD or JPEG format and should be received by Close of Business on Mondays for publishing on Tuesdays. Chill It is a social and recreational program run by Glen Eira Youth Services that provides safe and supported environment for young people aged 10 to 14 to meet after school and have some fun.

Participants will be able to meet new people and create friendships while interacting with each other in active and creative ways.

Throughout this program participants have been able to try new activities, work with others, be included in their community and challenge themselves with positive personal outcomes.

Activities for term three will include MasterChef style cooking, building challenges, outdoor games (for non-rainy days), Uno with a twist games, talent showcase and much more!

Dates: 20, 27 July; 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 August; and 7 September

Time: 4pm–5.30pm

B.A.M.

The highly popular B.A.M. (Body and Mind) program is back for another term.

B.A.M. is a free program specifically for young females aged 14 to 25 years of age. B.A.M. girls will learn basic self-defence techniques as well as get in on important discussions around emotional awareness and decision making. No prior knowledge of martial arts is required so come get active and have some fun all while learning some important skills!

Fit-Social

Meeting people and getting fit has never been easier!

Fit-Social is a fitness and social program which lets you work on your

fitness at the same time as hanging out and meeting some new people. What better way to look after your health than in a fun environment that is supportive and encouraging.

The program is open to boys and girls aged 14 to 25 years old who live, work or study in the City of Glen Eira. It’s free of charge and open to all fitness levels. The activities will vary each week, although you can look forward to trying out circuit training, basketball, pilates, cardio drills, soccer, dodgeball, etc.
