New TLS 5 Twin Lacing System

Once again, Nitro is pushing ahead by introducing the new TLS 5 lacing system. Based on the experience from our previous technical lacing systems, we have further refined functionality of the TLS 5: Easier lace engagement and release, combined with even lower abrasion of our Dyneema® laces are the key factors of this highly reliable mechanism. At the same time, we have been able to further reduce size and weight while maintaining the reliability proven by tens of thousands of days on the mountain. Even though rarely needed, servicing and replacement of all parts including the lace is easier than with any other system on the market. Even using a stan-dard lace if you‘re in a pinch is an option only available on Nitro‘s TLS boots. New, easy-entry handle storage pockets as well as our Bail Out system for an easier entry and exit round off the most developed dual lacing system on the market.

QLS Quick Lacing System

THERMINATOR SHIELD

ILS (Internal Lacing System)

Our ILS system features a lacing harness firmly connected to the boot shell. This harness snugly wraps around the liner, securing it in the shell and providing precise lacing and even pressure for a perfect fit. Our engineered ILS laces provide less friction and a Dyneema® core for added strength.

CUFF LINK

The upper cuff of the boot shell is linked to the lower boot part with an anatomically correct de-sign, allowing the ankle to flex naturally while providing necessary support and even pressure throughout your whole foot. The Cuff Link design reduces unwanted bulging around the ankle.
