As Chair of the Commission, I am extremely pleased that we are moving into the next stage of our engagement with you. So get ready! Since the Congress in Hawaii, we have been very busy – and so many of you have helped us get to where we are. As you will read in this newsletter, #NatureForAll continues to flourish and grow. We now have over 250 partner organizations around the world and a growing body of knowledge and wisdom. Our Commission membership is also expanding at a rapid rate – and I encourage you to continue to invite interested persons to join the Commission. The membership process is now on line – so people can apply to be members by clicking here. The last few months have been very busy for me – with an extreme travel regime. However, this has made it possible for me to have met members in Peru, St. Lucia, the USA, Canada, Cuba, Switzerland, Austria, Indonesia, Kenya and at many international meetings. I am always so impressed by the passion and commitment of our community. Together, I believe we can do great things. Read more... CEC FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Sustain by Design – an experiment tocommunicate the Sustainable Development Goals Graduate students at the Srishti Institute of Art, Designand Technology tackle the SDGs through creative andcritical practices, and asked provocative questions ofrelevance and over-simplification of the SDGs in theIndian context. The studio culminated in a studentconference where they showcased creativecommunication of the SDGs by engaging in a particularcontext or issue.Read more...

Celebrations for the Future! 22nd May 2018 was celebrated as the International Dayfor Biological Diversity, globally. As a part of this,several celebrations were held in India that alsocommemorated 25 years of India’s actions towardssecuring biodiversity for the future, through its legalframework process.
