New downhole inspection camera suitable for HPHT use 4 September 2007 in Production (PO) , Reservoir (RDD) A new camera has answered the industry call for real time images from high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) downhole environments. The EVOLeye HPHT 200 camera inspection system, reportedly the first of its kind for the HPHT offshore sector, will get its debut at Offshore Europe in Aberdeen, Scotland. The camera system's developer, EV Offshore Ltd (EVO), reports that the system is the result of a relatively quick and intensive testing and development period. As a result, the camera reportedly provides the highest development quality of any video transmission system like it in the industry. EVO also announced plans to release an acoustic module for the system soon after the initial release of the EVOLeye HPHT 200. This acoustic module will reportedly make it possible for the operator to produce imaging in areas of zero visibility. This module, and a second video module, will be designed using the same telemetry and will be available as optional extras. New downhole inspection camera suitable for HPHT use

4 September 2007 in Production (PO), Reservoir (RDD)A new camera has answered the industry call for real time images from high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) downhole environments.

Several offshore operators expressed their support and interest for the development of the EVOLeye HPHT 200, some in the form of R&D funding in hopes of bringing the system to market quickly. Currently, the EVOLeye HPHT 200 is scheduled to be fully operational during

Q1 2008.

Visitors to Offshore Europe, in Aberdeen from 4-7 September 2007, will be able to learn more about the new system and see a demonstration model at EVO's stand number 207/5. Or, you can visithttp://www.evoffshore.com/ to learn more about this and other downhole, well intervention and subsea camera inspection systems that the company provides.
