Eligibility Criteria p.1 The student: Is enrolled in grade 11
according to PowerSchool (first time only) Must have a current IEP
(includes limited English proficient (LEP)) Does not have only a
current Section 504 Plan Exhibits severe and pervasive delays in
all areas of conceptual, linguistic, and academic development as
well as in adaptive behaviors, including communication, daily
living skills, and self-care Is following a course of study that,
upon completion of high school, may not lead to admission into a
college-level course of study resulting in a college degree Is not
receiving instruction in the North Carolina Extended Common Core
and Essential Standards Meets the criteria above AND has a written
parental request for an alternate assessment* 2 *Permission process
will become part of annual review.

Testing Window and Important Dates p. 2 Window: March 4-18
Testing Plan due to Testing Office February 25 Pickup materials
Thursday, February 27. Materials must be returned between 1 and 5
pm, Wednesday, March 19. Call our office if youd like to return

Estimated Test Administration Time p. 2 150 minutes (Does not
include time for general instructions and breaks) Must be
administered in one school day and must be the first activity of
the morning The verbal instructions to students are to begin no
later than 9:00 a.m. The tests must be administered in a specific
order (i.e., English, math, reading and science) Students must not
stop when they complete the questions for a subject area section;
students must continue working on the test questions until the test
is completed or until time is called 4
