NOTE. Beginners, students and professionals just starting their career are highly encouraged.

Nanotechnology has recently emerged as most vi-

brant area of science, technology and engineering

which exhibits great potential of applications in di-

versified sectors such as Health, Food & Agriculture,

Textile, Electronics, Environment, Energy, Biomedi-

cal , etc. National Institute for Biotechnology and Ge-

netic Engineering (NIBGE) has established a strong

infrastructure to carry out cutting edge research re-

lated with this promising field. Nanobiotechnology

Group (NBT) at NIBGE is a dynamic and active group

equipped with the most sophisticated characteriza-

tion techniques such as Field Emission Scanning Elec-

tron Microscopy (FESEM), Atomic Force Microscopy

(AFM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Dy-

namic Light Scattering (Zeta Sizer Nano), etc. We are

immensely delighted to announce a National Train-

ing Workshop on Nanomaterials as well as One

Day Symposium on Nanotechnology at NIBGE.

Training workshop will include lectures and demon-

strations/animations whereas in symposium invited

lectures/talks will be delivered by the active & ex-

perienced people of the field. Few of the participants

of the workshop having good profile may be given a

chance to present their research work in the sympo-

sium. We hope that this event will provide all the

participants with a good opportunity to establish

collaborations with NIBGE and institutes/

universities of the participants.
