Page 1 of 2 HIGH COURT OF TRIPURA AGARTALA No.F.11(14)-HC/2021/1625-33 Dated, Agartala, the 15 th January, 2022 N O T I F I C A T I O N The Hon’ble High Court has been pleased to notify the status of vacancies in Grade-III of Tripura Judicial Service as on 31.12.2021 and till date in terms of order dated 04.01.2007 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India passed in Civil Appeal No. 1867 of 2006 with Nos. 1868-72 of 2006 (Malik Mazhar Sultan(3) and another Vrs. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and others) which is as follows: For appointment to the posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) by direct recruitment Vacancies to be calculated including a. Existing Vacancies in Grade-III of Tripura Judicial Service Vacancy position as on 31.12.2021 and till date Status of Recruitment Process as on date Vacancy: 14 Sanctioned posts in the Grade is 49 including 12 deputation/ leave reserve posts. As on 31.12.2021 there were 35 officers in the Grade. So, there were 14 vacancies. Name of 14[fourteen] successful candidates have been recommended and sent to the State Government by the High Court for appointment in the Grade on 18.12.2021. 2. In the meantime, 10 [ten] Grade-III Officers have been promoted to Grade-II of the Service on 12.01.2022 and accordingly, 10[ten] more vacancies have arisen in Grade- III. As a result, total vacancies in Grade-III will be 11[eleven] after joining of all 13 [thirteen] recommended candidates. 2. As on today, being appointed by the State Government on the recommendation of the High Court, 07[seven] Officers joined in Grade-III of the service on 03.01.2022 & 1[one] Officers joined on 04.01.2022 and out of remaining 06[six] Officers, 1[one] candidate conveyed in writing not to join the service and other 5[five] candidates are expected to joint very soon after completion of police verification.

The Hon’ble High Court has been pleased to notify the status of

vacancies in Grade-III of Tripura Judicial Service as on 31.12.2021 and

till date in terms of order dated 04.01.2007 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of

India passed in Civil Appeal No. 1867 of 2006 with Nos. 1868-72 of 2006
