    Ekaterinberg, Russia

What a great visit to Russia and to

see our teams doing so well. I was

even given a surprise birthday party

by our volunteers and it was

    absolutely delightful.

    I preached more than 20

times in Russia and we saw

    many saved and thousands of

    rededications and healings as the

    Lord moved mightily amongst

    us.

    I visited a total of 20 plus

    orphanages, 3 drug rehabilitation

centers and a juvenile prison. Physical and Spiri-

tual healings were the norm. In every church

there were folks who thanked me for the ministry

of NHOM International and so many thanking us

for making them aware of the plight of the or-

phans. In each church I also met with parents

who have adopted children from the orphanages

    because of our active ministry.

The two pictures in the upper left are of the

many volunteers that surprised me with a birthday

party. The other photo’s are just a few of the many thousands of orphans and orphanages we visited in

this area. We are so blessed to have such great support from our teams, volunteers, and the local church

    in Ekaterinberg.

    NHOM Prayer Requests

    1. Pray for the safety and travel for all

    our workers.

    2. Pray for the teams you see in our

    newsletters and the volunteers that

    travel and work with them.

    3. Pray for the building project in

    Ethiopia and Sri Lanka.

    4. Pray for finances for NHOM in all

    areas in which we work.

    5. Pray for those helpless children and

    dependent older people we work

    with.

    6. Pray that God would give us more

people to minister to so that all shall

be saved from sin and death.

    7. Pray for John & Evelyn and each

team member that God would con-

tinue to give them wisdom and

    strength in all they do.

Photo lower left is one of the last

services to be held in the old “New

    Life” church building. I preached

and hundreds came to the altar for

    salvation, healings, forgiveness

and more of a hunger for God.

Photo on lower right is of the ac-

    tual Winter Olympia Torch used

in the Sochi, Russia Olympics. It

was on loan to NHOM to be used

to carry to the orphanages not

only the torch and spirit of the

Olympics but also the Hope and

Spirit of God to the children and

    staff of those orphanages.

  • Widow’s Ministry Jaffna, Sri Lanka

Here everything is going smoothly. We had a mini crusade and God moved miracu-

lously. Many committed their lives to Jesus. Last week we conducted a house meeting in

that area and 12 of the newly committed new believers came to that meeting.

Many of our widows also participated in our crusades. They trust God and somehow

are doing well in their family life. They really appreciate your help and pray to God too.

One of our widows Mrs. Sivakamasundary is suffering from back pain and Mrs. Rasathy

is suffering from an eye-problem. Please pray for their quick recovery. Our widows are

totally dependent on God for their every need so please pray for them and with $35 per

month through NHOM International you can help meet the needs of the widow and her

    family

In our country, again there are some political problems are arising. Some of the Tamils (mostly Hindu’s)

were arrested by the military (mostly Buddhist). Please pray that the Lord should protect our country and must

guide our leaders to rule the country in Justice through the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Please uphold our ministry in your prayers. In our church we need a vehicle to transport sound systems and

generator to rural areas. That will help in our mini crusades. Because we are now targeting very remote vil-

lages. In some villages there is no electricity at all. Pray that God should provide money to buy a vehicle for

the sake of ministry. In Kandy we have not had any news to report because of a recent Pastoral change. We

are in the process of re-establishing communications with this vital church in the heart of Buddhist country. It

always takes time to adjust to the new Pastor and his vision for his area of ministry.

    Bahir Dar, Ethiopia Report

Rev. Gizie tells me that we are progressing quite well on our NHOM Children’s Vil-

lage in Tis Abay. The water well is nearly completed and almost usable, not only for the

orphans, but for those many families that live close by. He also told me that our initial

phase of our building project will get started very soon. Since our last newsletter we have

picked up 15 additional children which brings us to a total of 25 now in NHOM’s care.

This means additional costs of beds, bedding, clothes, food,

two additional staff members and whatever else it takes to take

    care of 15 additional children.

We are growing in numbers and responsibilities as we en-

counter the needs of the special group of people we work with.

We have to be careful that we select the right staff and person-

nel to minister to the needs and cares of these needy children. We invite you to visit

us and see for yourselves what is going on at New Hope Children’s Village. Just to

fill you in on some of the needs. We need a fence built around our compound. We

need a number of bunk beds for more children. We need a study hall and recreation

room for the students and faculty. We need a van for transportation. We need a small clinic and first aid sup-

ply facility. We need people who will sponsor a child for $35 per month. If you can help in any of these areas

we would so greatly appreciate your assistance. Our task is a giant one and the need is sometimes very over-

whelming but we know who can meet all our needs and we are trusting Him, for the battle is not ours but His.

    Widow’s Ministry Ekaterinberg, Russia

We are excited about our new church building right in the center of Ekaterinberg. It

will help facilitate some of the needs for the elderly and widows we already work with

and those that will come in the future.

I have been busy visiting and caring for those widows in our church who have no one

to care for them. I also help with the orphans and Igor as I go to orphanages on occasion.

How blessed we are to be a part of the very heart of God when He tells us to visit the fa-

therless and widows in their affliction and to keep ourselves unspotted from the world. Delara Ekaterinberg, Russia

  • Odessa, Ukraine

    In spite of all the

    problems between

    Russia and Ukraine

    our team is relentless

    in teaching the orphans

    and elderly about the

    only one who can

    solve all the issues that

face us all and that is

    the Lord Jesus Christ.

They continue to visit orphanages and

elderly homes and ministering to the needs of

the people. Volunteers help in this very vital

ministry. Providing hair care, beauty aids to

the teenage girls, and instilling integrity and

Godliness into the boys and young men.

Viktoria sets up, and has to limit, the num-

ber of people who can travel with her as she

has ministered to thousands of children and

    young peo-

    ple on a

    regular ba-

    sis. Her

    skills in

    planning and

    ministering

    are second

to none. As you look at the intensity of the children in the above

picture they are anxious to hear the testimonies and stories of a

Savior not known to them before. We use every means at our dis-

posal to share the love of God throughout the region of Odessa.

NHOM International is directly involved in seeing thousands of

    souls come to Je-

    sus each year for

    more than 16

    years of ministry.
