MY SALON Suite Expanding in Texas MY SALON Suite has signed a 10-unit development deal with Houston entrepreneur Aaron Gillaspie for the Houston, Fort Worth and San Antonio markets.

MY SALON Suite is part of a growing sector of salons that lease space to stylists. Salons by JC and Sola Salon Studios have opened studios in the Houston market recently.

Gillaspie is planning to open the first MY SALON Suite location in the summer of 2016. He is targeting the Bellaire/River Oaks neighborhoods for the first location.

The locations will contain about 5,000 square feet and feature between 20 to 30 suites. As a franchise partner with MY SALON Suite, Gillaspie will recruit and lease suites to salon professionals.

“We empower beauty professionals to become salon entrepreneurs with 24-hour access to their own suites, while providing them with all of the resources they need to succeed including state-of-the-art equipment and ongoing support to grow their business,” Gillaspie, CEO of Willis Park Corp., said in an announcement.

MY SALON Suite has 35 salons in 13 states across the United States and Canada. The New Orleans-based franchise concept is aiming to add 200 franchise partners and 300 salons in the next five years.
