In the Football game against Valencia and Mountain View, Mountain View crushed the Valencia team with a final score of 42-0. The quarterback Jayden Gallegos, scored a total of four touchdowns. The running back Miyu also scored. Through Valencia worked hard, they were no match for the Lions defense. The safety, Estevon had bated two balls and, had almost gotten an interception. On the line of the defense, Dylan and Devonte got a total of nine sacks. Overall it was a good game for the lions and looks like a good season, as they are 3-0, “Let’s GO Lions!”

Cowboys vs. Giantsby Natalia

Sunday night’s football game Cowboys played the giants.

In the first quarter ,touchdown was made by the Cowboys they ran 64 yards and in only 13 minutes. Dak made an amazing pass to Tavon Austin which led him to make a touchdown making the score 7-0. Later Brett Maher on the Cowboys made a great field goal making the score 10-0. The Cowboys made a fumble and the Giants got the ball but Giants then made a fumble, giving the ball back to the Cowboys . Second, quarter came no one scored a point but both teams had great defense. It’s now the third quarter the Giants had another fumble. The Cowboys made another field goal making the score 13-0 leaving the Giants in the dust! But the Giants made a come back by kicking a field goal making the score 13-3. Finally, it’s fourth quarter and Ezekiel Elliot from the Cowboys made a touchdown now the score is 20-3. Evan Engram from the Giants makes a come back making the score 20-10. Then Riley Dickson from the Giants makes a field goal the score is 20-13 but with 11 seconds left the Giants couldn’t make a touchdown so the Cowboys took the big Win.

Game Review: Super Smash Bros. UltimateA new game approaches! Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch is one of the most anticipated Nintendo games coming to stores on December 7th, 2018. It has every character in Super Smash Bros. history! The looks of the characters are updated too, and there are new playable characters, some of them being Ridley from Metroid and Isabelle from Animal Crossing. There are lots of new maps and DLC packs. Just like all the other Super Smash Bros. Games, I think this one will be amazing.

Book Review: TookThe old woman sniffs fear, the girl is scared of the old house and the dark. As this story progresses things that happen to Daniel get more and more stressful.

This book is about a boy whose parents are fighting, his younger sister Erica and her doll “Little Erica”, and about moving into a dark house with a dark past. The kids at school tease Daniel and Erica about the house they live in. Daniel won’t believe the lies that they say. They’re just some old rumor or.. are they? This book is recommended for anyone who likes a good ghost story to read during the day or night! This book has incredible reviews on numerous media sites. I recommend that you guys check this book at your local library!

MVMS Clubs and Eventsby Kianna

“The world is a complicated place, and there's a lot of division between people, the performing arts tend to unify people in a way nothing else does.” - David Rubenstein.

There are several clubs at Mountain View but the current focus is on the school’s drama club.

“In drama club”, a source states, “it's fun you can be expressive and creative.”

From the information that was gathered drama club practices every Monday. They perform a play and it is on December 3rd.

Another source expressed, “Being in drama club is very enjoyable, but the hardest part is to think outside the box.” The same source also states, “The public should know that they are all hard workers and that the show would be magnificent.”

When talking with several of the Drama club participants they all agreed that what they do takes hard work, determination, and imagination.

NM State Fairby Mariah

When you hear New Mexico what do you think? Well, some people may think of the state fair. Most of us had gone to the state fair once or twice, I personally went and would like to share my experience. The food has a high-calorie count but it's worth it.

At the fair, there are several events going on at the same time, such as rodeos, concerts, games, and art.

The state fair also has very fun and amusing rides. Some rides go high, low, fast, or slow.

The state fair is held in September and ends on September 16th. My experience there was amazing.

I would recommend attending the state fair next time it comes around. If not you are missing out. People come from all around to see it.
