Building is located in existing parking lot directly east of Hall of Justice

Proposed building is three stories tall with partial basement

New Jail Facility

Facility provides detention capacity of 474 beds Additional 64 beds available within proposed structure Proposed building systems being designed to accommodate

a fourth floor which can add 241 beds for a total potential of 779 beds

New Jail Facility - Site

Visitor parking will be located south of addition and in lot east of Pine Street.

Visitor access to building at south side of connector between New Jail and Hall of Justice – well defined pedestrian access way to extend east to parking areas

Staff parking will be located on the east side of Pine Street as well as new lot created in space occupied by Antique Mall

Staff access to building will be from the Sheriff ’s Department entry.

Deliveries will be from north side of building

Building is located directly south of existing county buildings on Apple Avenue.

Visitor and staff parking located west of new building A new service drive is proposed at the intersection of

Spring and Delaware . Primary access to site would be from Diana Street

(vacated).
