1. I must be present at all of the required rehearsals for my respective role(s). If absences and/or tardies become a chronic problem, then I will be dropped from the show and will only be considered for chorus next year.

2. I have listed on the attached Conflict Sheet ALL my conflicts. I understand any new conflicts post casting may result in removal from the number, role and or production. The Director reserves the right to not cast an individual based on the number of conflicts.

3. I understand the last two weeks of rehearsals including evenings and weekends must be cleared of all conflicts. Also, I will be present for all productions, strike and cast party.

Student Name:____________________________________________ Dear Parents: Thank you for allowing your child to audition for the Menard musical. Please note the following policies and procedures:

1. Rehearsals begin immediately. Depending on which role your child will be cast in will decide how demanding his/her schedule will be. PLEASE NOTE: DURING THE MARDI GRAS BREAK WE WILL REHEARSE.

2. Costume notes will be handed out soon. Students will provide their own shoes including one pair of tap shoes and costume accessories for this show but more info soon.

3. $150.00 Production Fee for all students. The production fee is due from each cast member at the time of auditions. We are involved in many fundraisers in order to provide the most educational and enjoyable musical theatre experience for all students involved. Please make checks payable to Menard Theatre Arts Dept---Production Fee.

4. All students must be present at all of the required rehearsals for their respective roles. If absences become a chronic problem, the student will be dropped from the show and will only be considered for chorus next year. At auditions, a calendar of prior commitments is required. An overloaded schedule will be considered when casting for the large roles. In March and April everyone must attend, no exceptions.

5. There is a Parent Meeting late February TBA where we will discuss the added cost of feeding the cast during the last two weeks.

6. Please share your talents with us. Below is a form that you need to complete to let me know what you are willing to do. All parents need to help in some way.

• Must be charismatic with comedic timing • Wants the American dream and the American dream girl, Hope. But he’s not sure if he can settle down • Tempted by the high life of New York fame and celebrity. • Leonardo DeCaprio’s character, Jack, from the movie Titanic. (Just funnier)

Moonface Martin: lovable bad guy. • Strong Comic timing • Street smart but not very bright • Harmless • Grew up in New York (accent) • Watch gangsters in the movie musical Guys and Dolls.
