For your initial audition, there are 3 simple musical selections you may choose from: Spoonful of Sugar (measures 33-62)

Chim Chim Cher-ee (measures 33-65) Let’s Go Fly a Kite (measures 30-54)

Choose one selection to perform at your audition, but you may be asked to sing all three. Memorization is recommended, but not required…however, ACTING the songs is just as important

as singing the notes. Understanding the lyrics will help you bring a depth of character and feeling to your song. *SING SONG AS IF IT WERE A SINGLE SOLO LINE (LEARN THE MELODY, NOT “PARTS”).
