Respect is different than just following policies and rules. Respect is earned when it is given. When we respect each other, our class time together will go very smoothly. I do not expect you to be perfect and you should not expect me to be perfect, but we should expect that we will respect each other’s mistakes and differences.

Reading: -required to read Accelerated Reader (AR) books; 2 per marking period. -we will be reading novels and nonfiction books together in class -we will be reading some books from our anthologySpelling/English: -you will get a Spelling Menu once per week -you will have an English test once per weekWriting: -we will use the Write Tools (green, yellow, pink, blue highlighters again) -you will learn Argumentative, Narrative, and Informational Writing

Respect should be the first thing you give.
