The Brave New Workshop (BNW) Comedy Theatre has been creating audacious, hilarious and thought-provoking original comedy for over 50 years. From the company’s downtown Minneapolis location, the talented cast perform original sketch comedy and improvisation shows throughout the year. As a growing and diverse company, the BNW also offers classes for improvisation and unique business and meeting services. Powered by BNW owner John Sweeney, who you will meet today, the company’s Creative Outreach business programs use the assets of improvisational theatre to ignite workplace innovation. As a speaker and trainer, Sweeney simplifies innovation into everyday behaviors that help audiences move from hesitation to action, from judgment to open-mindedness, and from fear to discovery. Companies hoping to modify a behavior, teach a skill, or deliver a message, seek out Sweeney and his team because the resulting collaboration creates experiences so unexpected attendees are driven to laugh, learn and change. Creative Outreach clients include some of the most progressive Fortune 500 companies in the world.
