RESULTS• Between Q2 2007 and Q3 2010 rig
175 drilled 34 wells including 4 complex ERD wells and the longest wells in Bass Strait A26a 6,456m MD, M33a – 6,200m MD with the highest rate of oil production in Bass Strait.
• First sub-volcanic completion.• Rig down time < 0.2% • 263 days Hurt Free Record• 3rd on EMDC Global Hurt Free
Leader board• 4 platform to platform rig moves. • 25% - 30% Improvement in rig move
time• Achieved Hurt Free Rig Move 2010

CONCLUSION
The continuous improvement model for best practice rig moves in Bass Strait is based on a team approach
that has been able to engage the hearts and minds of the entire team.
