I congratulate you on your success in completing your final School Year of Education here at Mount Morgan High. Many of you began your Secondary Education in Year 8 here and have been around for all five years, some have started here, left and returned and others have only been with us for a year or so. However long you have been with us really does not matter. What really does matter is that you completed your Senior Certificate here and you are on the records as the Class of 2017. Congratulations to each one of you on your success. The end of your High School education is not the end of your learning; it is the beginning of your learning about the next chapter in your life, the world of independence, careers and new relationships with new people. Whether you continue with further education such as University or TAFE or enter the workforce, you will be surrounded by new adventures and opportunities. Life can be wonderful, however, life’s successes rely on our approach to and decisions that we make along the way. A positive approach will always help when we are faced with un- pleasant decisions or situations. Combine this with a good work ethic and you will discov- er that there can be enjoyment in the things we have to do. I want to wish you all the best for the future and please feel free to visit Mount Morgan High from time to time to say “G’day” and let us know of your successes. Thank you for choosing us to be your School. Kindest regards, Mr Rickertt - Principal Please see page 2 & 3 for the Graduating Class of 2017. 2017 School Captains

Year 9 Peer Skills Workshop October 2017

“A picture says a thousand words” however just in case you need some tips the following paragraphs explain the 2 day Peer Skill workshop many of our Year 9 girls engaged in with enthu-siasm, energy, and an overwhelming sense of meaning and pur-pose. It was an absolute delight to work with these young peo-ple. The Prep students from Mount Morgan Central were also very excited to work alongside these girls as they engaged in

some puzzles together.
