With 17 Grammy Awards, Franklin is one of the most honored artists in Grammy history, selling over 75 million records worldwide. In 1987 she became the first female performer to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Franklin was #1 on Rolling Stones list of the Greatest Singers of All Time, and in 2005 she received a Presidential Medal of
