Penn Philosophy Outreach presents: ‘Sophie's World: A Novel About the
History of Philosophy’ by Jostein Gaarder.
Sophie Amundsen is a 14-year-old Norwegian girl who discovers how philosophy shapes
her world through a mysterious correspondence course.
Please join Penn PhD students for a reading and discussion of Gaarder's best-selling
philosophical novel, suitable for pre-teens, teenagers, and adults.
