The MM400 can be configured in 3 differentcabinets. The sensor can be remotemounted from any of these configurations.

Both general purpose and intrinsically saferemote sensors are available:

Three different configurations to match yourneeds:

Panel or bench mount

NEMA 4X / IP66 waterproof andweatherproof

19" rack mount

All instruments in the series incorporate ourhigh quality aluminium oxide moisturesensor, providing accurate, dependableresults over a wide range from –148°F to+68°F dew point. The aluminium oxidesensor is maintenance-free and is thepopular choice for the most demandingapplications.

Simply select the instrument configurationand sensor location and let the analyzer dothe rest.

The Systech Illinois 400 Moisture/DewPoint Hygrometers represent the latestadvance in moisture analysis. Designed tobe customized to your application givingprecise measurements while providing asimple, yet affordable analyzer.

This series is designed with the user inmind. These units are completelyconfigurable including the ability to remotemount sensors and offering user-selectableunits of Dew Point (°C or °F) or ppmv.

Two versions of the remote sensor areavailable to meet your needs. The generalpurpose sensor includes flow valves andcan be mounted up to 3280.8ft from theanalyzer. A simple coaxial cable connectsthe sensor to the instrument.

The intrinsically safe remote sensor allowsfor installations into hazardous areas. Thissensor is approved by BASEEFA andCENELEC to ATEX II 1G/EEx ia IIC T4standards.

A small, anodized aluminium strip iscoated with a very thin layer of gold. The aluminium and gold layers form the twoelectrodes of an aluminium oxide capacitor. The water vapor penetrates through thegold layer and adheres to the pores of theoxide layer. The number of moleculesabsorbed on the oxide layer determines theconductivity of the oxide. The value of porewall resistance provides a value ofimpedance which is directly related to thewater vapour pressure.

All Systech Illinois sensors are made tolaboratory standards of precision andindustrial standards of durability.

Stainless steel housings, lab gradecomponents and controlled environmentmanufacturing ensure the finest, mostconsistently precise sensors in the industry.
