2ΑΧΩ VOLUNTEERS WITH GYN CANCERS ALLIANCE
On Friday, January 20, 15 members of the Zeta Sigma chapter of Alpha Chi Omegavolunteered at the GYNCA Chips against Cancer Casino Night. The money raised at theevent, held at the The Tower Club in Springeld, Missouri, beneted the GYN Cancers
Alliance. The ladies of Alpha Chi Omega helped out in any way they could; such asselling 50/50 tickets and necklaces, working at the silent auction, and checking coats atthe door. The women had a great time; as for some of them, it was a personal experience.A few of the volunteers had encountered ovarian cancer within their families. AndreaColeman, the service chair of the Zeta Sigma chapter, said this in reaction to the event.“The event had a great turnout and it meant so much to me to have my sorority sisters thereto support me in a cause that is so near and dear to my heart. This organization helpedmy mom during her battle with ovarian cancer, so their cause has a special meaningin my life.” - Jessie Goben, Alpha Chi Omega VP of Public Relations and Marketing
