Ofcers attended various workshops and breakouts on a multitude of subjects pertaining to leadership and promoting values in the Fraternity and Sorority community. Missouri State’s PHA was honored with the Self Governance and Judicial Affairs award for their work over the last term. The money raised at the event, held at the The Towe r Club in Springeld, Missouri, b eneted the GYN Cancers Alliance. The ladies of Alpha Chi Omega helped out in any way they could; such as selling 50/50 tickets and necklaces, working at the silent auction, and checking coats at the door. The women had a great time; as for some of them, it was a personal experience. A few of the volunteers had encountered ovarian cancer within their families. Andrea Coleman, the service chair of the Zeta Sigma chapter, said this in reaction to the event. “The event had a great turnout and it meant so much to me to have my sorority sisters there to support me in a cause that is so near and dear to my heart. Stop by the Alpha Sigma Alpha house February 27th and/or 28th from 6pm-8pm for Alpha Sigma Alpha’s annual Spaghetti Dinners! You will be served delicious spaghetti, bread, salad and dessert from the lovely ladies of Alpha Sig. Tickets are only $5 in advance or you can purchase them for $7 at the door. There will also be a special performance by A Cub Bella Tuesday night at 6:30, as well as house tours and a silent auction going on both nights. FSL OFFICERS ATTEND AFLV LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
