Lord, make us turn to you; let us see your face and we shall be saved.
Mission San Jose Catholic Church was founded and established to proclaim the Gospel mission of Jesus for our time and place by becoming a faith community of God’s people. Through a commitment to prayer, study, fellowship and ministry, we strive to become a
community of hope to all around us and a living mission to the many who choose to come to Mission San Jose.

Church Floor
The entire church floor was professionally cleaned this past week. With great difficulty over 200 pieces of gum were removed from the floor. We don't want to "chew" anyone out but we will be more vigilant and encourage everyone to discard their gum prior to coming into the church.
Special thanks to Leonard Frias and his grandson Christopher and Manuel Garcia who helped move all the furniture.
Facebook Live
Please join Deacon George everyday on Facebook Live as he leads us praying the Angelus at 12pm.
Deacon George will also have “ Ask the Deacon” on Facebook Live every
Thursday at 7pm

Prayer for Hope Father God, every word in scripture points to the gift of hope that we have because of Christ Jesus. The Christmas story wasn’t the beginning of that message of hope because the old testa-ment is full of glimpses of your plan to redeem your people and restore them into a relation-ship with you, but we are able to truly begin to see and understand just how great your love for us is when we read the story of Jesus’ birth in scripture. Help us to see that you are with us. Nothing is too dif icult, too messy, or too dirty for you. Je-sus came to give us the gift of eternal life through the salvation that only you, our Heav-enly Father, can give when we believe on your Son, repent of our sins, and confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior. That irst Christmas, you gave us the gift of hope wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. Thank you, Father, for your immeasur-able gift. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen. (Hope Bollinger)

Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe for the Protection from Coronavirus
Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, Queen of the Angels and Mother of the Americas. We fly to you today as your beloved children. We ask you to intercede for us with your Son, as you did at the wedding in Cana. Pray for us, loving Mother, and gain for our nation and world, and for all our families and loved ones, the protection of your holy angels, that we may be spared the worst of this illness. For those al-ready afflicted, we ask you to obtain the grace of healing and deliverance. Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful, wipe away their tears and help them to trust. In this time of trial and testing, teach all of us in the Church to love one another and to be patient and kind. Help us to bring the peace of Jesus to our land and to our hearts. We come to you with confidence, knowing that you truly are our compassionate mother, health of the sick and cause of our joy. Shelter us under the mantle of your protection, keep us in the embrace of your arms, help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus. Amen
