Check in to White Plains on Facebook using your mobile phone. This month each check in will provide 6 gallons of water to a refugee through Save The Children. In September we donated 139 meals to students in Hai. So, every me you're in the building, pull out your phone to Check in & Do Good! The United Methodist Men's October meeting is Saturday, Oct. 10 th at 8am. Kevin Murray will share insights regarding human trafficking. Come join us for an excing program and breakfast! We are holding a How To Use My Bible workshop just for you! Come to room E-9 on Sunday, October 11 th from 3-4:15pm. We will learn how the Bible is divided, talk about the books, basic defini- tions, and how to look up verses. If there is enough interest, we can plan additional times for more in-depth skills! Interested? [email protected] State Fair Sign-Ups are LIVE! Go to www.wpumc.com/fairbooth to sign up for morning, afternoon and evening shifts. The funds raise through the Cary United Methodist restaurant all go to missions that are local and global. Transportation is provided to and from the fairgrounds at First UMC downtown Cary. Coats Needed—Please donate your gently used or new coats, hats, and gloves of all sizes (adults and children) and bring to the barrel outside the CLC. Senior Adult Trip– THIS Wednesday, October 7 th to Southern Supreme in Bear Creek for a 10am tour. Lunch will be at Mrs. Lacy’s Magnolia House in Sanford.
