● new website
o angular.io

● Much faster
● Syntax is much friendlier
● Web components instead of directives
● No more transclusion or scope!
o No link vs compile vs controller
● Greater emphasis on mobile
● There will be an upgrade path from version 1 to 2
● Angular 2 will use TypeScript instead AtScript
● We can also use ES5 or ES6

● 1.4 is in beta right now
● 1.4 is 30% faster than 1.3
● There will be a 1.5 and a 1.6
● 1.5 is suppose to start developers on the path to migrate
to 2.0
● There is going to be a new router in 1.4 that will be
compatible with 2.0

features
