EVENT INFORMATION

SECTION 1 – BEFORE THE EVENT

1. Competition Registration1.1. If this is your first event for the year, or have changed the power to weight of your car, complete and sign a PCQ

2018 Motorsport Competition Registration Form available on the club website and return to [email protected] or give to Motorsport Director on the day.

1.2. This will only be required once every year, unless you change your car or its specifications. 1.3. This is a QR run track day, this event is open to anyone but only PCQ members can be included in our two

nominated run groups

2. Circuit Details 2.1. Venue: Lakeside Park Raceway2.2. Location: Lakeside Road, Kurwongbah QLD 4503 2.3. Direction: Clockwise 2.4. Length: 2411 metres

3. Enter the event 3.1. Participants must entry on both the PCQ Website and The Queensland Raceways Online Entry System3.2. Online Entries will open on 14 March 2019 3.3. Entries will not be accepted unless accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. 3.4. All Printed Documentation must accompany every driver to the circuit for presentation at registration.3.5. Go to PCQ Website to complete PCQ Entry3.6. Go to www.qldraceways.com.au and click on the red tab “Entry System”

4. Fees 4.1. The Sprint event entry fee is $175 (GST Inc)4.2. No refund will be given for cancellation or non-appearance on the day of the event. 4.3. Payment Options

4.3.1. Paypal, Direct Deposit prior to Friday 5th April 20194.3.2. Direct Deposit prior to Thursday 14th April 20194.3.3. Cash or Cheque are only available by arrangement prior to the day4.3.4. Credit Card facilities are not available

5. Car 5.1. Ensure your car is in good mechanical order and will meet basic scrutineering requirements as required by QR.

Use.5.2. Driver must also complete PCQ Scrutineering Form, Pre-Event and Day of Events and leave on windscreen of car

for collection by PCQ Motorsport Officials5.3. PCQ Motorsport Committee and or Director respect the right to carry out random Scrutineering of one or more

cars

6. Driver 6.1. A helmet to comply with or exceed standards AS1698. Non-flammable clothing that fully covers the body from

ankle to wrist to neck. eg jeans, a long sleeve cotton shirt and enclosed shoes or a race suit.

SECTION 2 – ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT 1. Administration Checking

1.1. Date and Time: Saturday 6 th April 2019 from 11:00am to 12:30pm

1.2. Administration checking the following documentation must be presented: Competitors License (minimum QR Clubman), Porsche Club Queensland Indemnity Form and QR Indemnity Form

1.3. Each Driver to request a Race Number in Entry Form, PCQ does not guarantee that the requested number will be Approved by QR. If a Competitor does not have a race number QR will provide a race number

2. Briefings 2.1. Drivers Briefing

2.1.1. Location: Lakeside Driver Briefing Room. 2.1.2. Date and Time: Saturday 6th April 2019 at approximately 12:30pm.

3. Scrutiny Checking 3.1. All drivers must have done a pre-check on their own vehicles prior to the event. Each driver is responsible for their

own car. 3.2. Scrutineering Form to be completed and signed and left on the windscreen of car3.3. Blue triangle indicating the location of the battery. Blue coloured cars must have the triangle outlined in

white or red3.4. Tow hook must be screwed in3.5. Tow point sticker must be located at tow position

4. Running of the Event4.1. Competitor to assemble with their cars, in the marshalling area when called by the QR officials4.2. Run order will be established by QR however Run Group make up will be determined by PCQ. If there is any

special requests for competitors to run together, please contact the PCQ Motorsport Director prior to Friday 5th April 2019

4.3. Event Organiser will despatch competitors Drivers must obey all flag and traffic light signals and instructions by officials while on the circuit.

5. Results 5.1. Results will be determined by each car’s lowest lap time. 5.2. Points will be awarded as per the 2019 Motorsport Competition Rules

Application to Sprint at Lakeside/Willowbank

I, the undersigned, of my own free will hereby apply to Queensland Raceways Operations Pty Ltd ("Track Operator") for permission to enter and use the property known as Queensland Raceway/Lakeside Park (the Track) for the purposes of participating in a Club Motorsport.

Warning of Risk

I acknowledge and agree that high performance and/or competition is dangerous and that accidents can and often do happen. I agree the Track Operator has the right to terminate any session at any time for whatever reason its sees fit at the time. I declare that I have read and understood these warnings and accept all the inherent risks and danger in motorsport.

Exclusion of Liability

I agree to absolve the Track Operator and event organiser Porsche Club Queensland from all liability however arising from injury or damage however caused (whether fatal or otherwise) arising out of my use of Queensland Raceway/Lakeside Park in any capacity.

Indemnity

In consideration of the Track Operator granting me the use of the Track I agree to indemnify them in respect of any actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, penalties, fines, whatever arising as a result, directly or indirectly, of my use of the Track or any act or omission (including negligence) on the part of the Track Operator.

Should any incident occur as a result of my particpation whereby a successful claim is made under any insurance policy relating to the Track and an excess premium or deductible is charged by the insurer of the Track I will pay in full the excess or deductible under such insurance policy except to the extent that it is paid by a third party.

Condition of the Track

I acknowledge that I have thoroughly inspected the Track and found it to be in safe condition for the activities I intend to undertake. By using of the Track I indicate acceptance of the Track’s condition for the activity(s) I will undertake. If an act or occurrence in which I am involved or observe reduces the safety of the Track I will immediately notify the Track Operator and warn other Track users of the danger and/or increased risk. I have read, understand, acknowledge and agree to the above warnings, exclusion of liability, indemnity and inspected the Track and accept with full knowledge the likelihood of injury and damage inherent in any motorsport activity.

Owners Statement

I, being the responsible owner of the car described herein certify that the vehicle meets the event’s requirement and meets or exceeds the safety requirements. I certify that the answers on this form are correct in every particular.

CONSENT STATEMENT FOR APPLICANTS WHO ARE MINORS
