Phoenix Fire Department Improves Response Times Phoenix Fire Department has done an exceptional job of improving response times to help the residents of Phoenix. In 2008, the department began examining ways to improve response times.

Over the past five years, fire officials attribute the improvement to a dual educational program for residents and firefighters, which includes how to quickly react at the station, GPS technology, and mobile computers to find the quickest route.

This efficiency in faster response times could mean safer communities and potentially many more lives saved. Great job Phoenix Fire and thank you for the service you so readily provide to our residents! Councilman Valenzuela hosted our first community event with “Cookies and Chat”. Providing our neighborhoods with the best service possible is Councilman Valenzuela’s priority. Our first forum was filled with our community and department representatives there to answer your questions. This month’s forum was “Pancake Saturday” at Fire Station 30. Stay tuned for our next forum in the Villa de Paz neighborhood. We will be having monthly forums in different parts of our district.
