FAMILYDESTINATION

The

WHERE NO ONE GETS BORED

VISION

PROBLEM

How many times have you wanted to grab acup of coffee with a friend but inside dread itcause your local coffee shop isn't very kidfriendly? A lot of moms (and dads andcaregivers) I know gave up on meeting friendsfor a cup of coffee, or going to the local coffeeshop to get a little bit of work done if the kidswere in tow.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a familydestination where parents and caregiverscould relax, maybe read a book, connect withsome friends, meet new people or get somework done while at the same time the kids areenteratined and have stuff to do? Where thekids can play in a supervised open play room, take a class and meet new friends?

TEAM

Liz is a mom of 3. She works from home. She's listened tothe "I'm so bored, mommy" cries. She's had no where totake her kids without one of them (or her) sitting bored. She'sfelt the pain of meeting friends for a coffee or bite to eatwhile trying to make sure the little's don't get into anything.

Her background is in marketing and operations. In the pastshe has taught kids music, art, and helped teach at churches. She has a passion for helping out in the community andhelping people in general. She wants to help other moms(and dads) have a place to hang out and connect for both thekids and themselves.

She's knee deep in the target market and has plenty offriends to turn to for advice about ideas forplaydate as needed.

And of course she has Addy, her almost 8 year old, to helpkeep her in the loop of what the kids like!

Currently in the Lakes Region there is no placewhere parents can go, relax (or work) grab a cup ofcoffee or a bite to eat, hang with friends while theirkids play. With no other business in the area set uplike this, the demand for this type of establishmentis definitely high.
