On behalf of the Akron Children’s Museum, we invite you to be part of a very special evening benefit. We are proud to announce Grown-Up Playdate – The ACMmys, a festive spin on Hollywood’s award season, which will be held on March 19, 2022 from 7:00-11:00pm at the Akron Children’s Museum in Lock 3 Park.
The Akron Children’s Museum was developed in 2012 by a group of young professional volunteers intent on increasing the number of educational and interactive indoor learning opportunities for young developing minds in the Akron area. We proudly opened our doors on November 25, 2016, and have already changed the landscape of Akron for children and their families. In the first three years, over 162,000 individuals from 57 counties and 44 states have visited the museum, and over 3,600 families became museum members. The Akron Children’s Museum provides exhibits and programming that inspire exploration, discovery and problem-solving while connecting families, businesses and organizations in our community. This annual fundraiser helps the museum continue to offer fresh new exhibits and experiences for our children and their families.
We hope that you will consider partnering with us by sponsoring the event. The enclosed form has more information about sponsorship levels. We would appreciate your response by December 30, 2021.
