Provision of Cashless Parking Services
Invitation For Expressions of Interest Maidstone Borough Council is leading a joint procurement with Swale Borough Council to tender Cashless Parking Solution Services for both authorities. Maidstone Borough Council is conducting an open tender process and invites expressions of interest from organisations with a proven track record of Cashless Parking Services for off street car parks and on street locations. Currently parking payments are made using pay and display units. Both Councils wants to introduce an additional payment option to pay for both long stay and short stay parking by providing a cashless parking solution. Cashless parking will provide motorists with a safe and user friendly way to pay parking. It is anticipated that the tender documents will be available from the website on the 16th September 2013. Parking Technicians form part of Gloucestershire County Council’s busy parking team. We require an experienced and motivated individual to provide overall support to the County’s Parking Manager, deputising when required. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can stay calm under pressure and take a diplomatic approach. You will have advanced knowledge of Word and Excel and be educated to degree level or possess equivalent experience. Experience in or an understanding of parking management would be an advantage.

The Council is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced manager to manage and develop its on- and off-street parking services, its three park & ride sites and its Civil Parking Enforcement operations.
