The Creatives Club has helped me in so many ways. Not only was I welcomed into a positive and growing community of inspiring individuals, but I was often encouraged to pursue my goals. With TCC, I was able to successfully launch and promote my first social media workshop, Social-Studio.org. I thank the members of TCC for helping me promote Social-Studio. Our first workshop had 30+ guests! TCC promoted my work through their social media platforms and blog. This helped me gain the attention of other creative individuals who may be interested in Social-Studio. The support I gained from the founders of TCC and its members is priceless!

As a mommy blogger and creative entrepreneur, I needed a support base like no other. I was thrilled when I found The Creatives Club. I always had ideas and goals but needed that extra push to develop them. I shared my business plan with TCC members and they have encouraged me to go for it. Since I have joined TCC, I have launched a new website and online business called Simply Savvy. In the next coming weeks, I will be launching my first e-course that will help bloggers develop a strong editorial calendar. The TCC community gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams, and I thank them for that!

* How We Can Improve Creativity & Why We Should Should creativity be stifled or should it be nurtured? While math and sciences take over academics, and practicality and logic are praised in the work environment, it seems there is little room for creativity. Creativity has been stifled in our society, when the exact opposite should happen. Creativity should be not only be cherished, but encouraged. Creativity helps to solve the world’s problems. Without creativity and experimentation, many of the inventions and products that exist today would simply not exist. Almost every product on the market solves a problem, whether that problem is a big societal problem, or a consumer-level problem that fulfills a specific need. Through creation and experimentation, an individual is able to explore the depths of their creativity. However, that individual is not the only person that reaps the benefits. In fact, one’s creative pursuit can lead to something much bigger, for everyone else involved. One simple creative idea can contribute to solving problems we as a society often face. Below are the three different ways we can improve and promote creativity: * Make creative communities available If you surround yourself with other creative individuals, you will enhance your own creativity. With a creative community, you’ll be empowered and inspired by everyone else in the group. Creative communities serve as great resource for creative people. By joining a creative community, your creative boundaries will be pushed. * Instill creativity in academics In secondary school, the classes you’re most familiar with include math, science and humanities class. While there might be an arts class or a music class, we still need to make a little room for more creativity. Such a class would encourage problem solving through creativity, whether it be crafting an actual product or brainstorming ideas. * Host community-wide creative competitions To encourage creativity in everyone, a community can host creative competition events that solve community problems. This is similar to Hackathon events, where programmers, designers and thinkers get together to create something that fulfills a specific need.

Creativity is essential and we must encourage every individual to explore his or her creative intuitions. Unfortunately, creativity is sometimes frowned upon. It is not seen as something practical. It may look like a waste of time, because being creative requires one to explore and experiment. This also means there’s an opportunity to fail, and for some, this notion is simply terrifying. It’s important to keep in mind, if you fail once, you may simply try again until you succeed. This “trying again” portion should not elicit fear. It is simply a creative process that will eventually lead you to unveil something great. However you go about it, just remember to be creative and inspire creativity in others! - The Creatives Club The Creatives Club (TCC) is a dedicated organization and community for creative individuals. With TCC, creatives around the globe can learn, share, and connect with one other. The goal of TCC is to promote, inspire, and help creative individuals in a positive community. Suzanna Stein, a lifestyle blogger, and Whitney Blake, a small business owner, are the co-founders of The Creatives Club.
