NEW PATENTED FRAME DESIGN – WITH HANGING ROLLS

THE NEW MBE ROLLER PRESS Design allows a fast and uncompli cated exchange of the rollers and easy access to all important mechanical parts. Changing the rolls as well as wear parts can be undertaken without dismantling parts of the frame.Due to the new design of the roller side collar the edge effect is minimized. New solutions in the construction allow for flexible operation with or without side collar, an exchange of the roller side wall plates (cheek plates) within minutes as well minimization of the bypass effect of the feed material.

MBE offers the full range of services for Roller Presses, starting from roller overhauls and quality checks accord-ing to ISO 9000 in our specialized workshop in Germany, the supply of items for local tyre exchange up to the supply of complete rollers including bearings, completely assembled and packed for shipment.

WORKSHOP MAINTENANCE

The workshop is equipped with all necessary, state of the art machinery such as machines for multidimensional turning, milling, planning, drilling, cutting and welding depending on individual requirements as well as the required furnaces for tyre assembly of HPGRs.Clients worldwide rely on our experienced and well trained team.

ON SITE SUPPORT

MBE offers on-site support by own experts for maintenance and service of HPGRs. Besides of supervision of the mainte-nance work we deliver all parts required for on-site ser-vices, such as:• Tyres• Shafts• Studs and Edge Protection (screwed segments or welded

hard facing)• Bearings, including housing and sealings• Complete Rolls

ROLLER COLLAR

The new design of the roller collar features ring segments which prevent material from bypassing sidewards from the process zone between the rolls. As a result a more homogenous and finer product with less recirculation material is achieved, decreasing the size of the HPGR as well as related screening and classifying equipment.The new design allows operating the roller press with or without the side collar. The cheek plates of the side walls are designed with a protection layer of wear resistant material which ensures a satisfying lifetime of the side wall plates in case of operation without the collar

FEEDING CHUTE AND SIDE WALL PLATES

The feeding chute and the side wall plates (cheek plates) are designed as one assembled unit which can be lifted and lowered for operation and maintenance. The position of the side wall plates can be adjusted by springs during operation and can be easily removed for exchange and maintenance. Furthermore, the side wall plate tips can be dismantled and exchanged separately. The wear resistant tips protect the side walls from excessive wear in case of operating the roller press without the roller collar.
