Assembly Dates Tuesdays and Wednesdays June 19-20 • June 26-27 • July 10-11 • July 17-18 • July 24-25

Nearly 1 million kids in Georgia lose access to lunch when school ends for the summer. As part of Smart Lunch, Smart Kid, we want to make sure that children in our community have the food they need. For 10 days during the summer we will meet in Fellowship Hall at 10:30 a.m.

to enjoy fellowship, refreshments, and a devotional. We will then make sandwiches and assemble 600 sack lunches. To sign up to make sandwiches and assemble lunches, simply choose from the dates above, add your name to the sign-up sheets in the Portico, or sign up via the church website (www.ogumc.org). You may also sign up by calling Sandee Edmondson in the church office (404-636-7558). Smart Lunch, Smart Kid is a great intergenerational service opportunity for individuals, families with children, and other groups. If you would like to make a monetary contribution toward food supplies, make your check to Oak Grove with Smart Lunch in the “for/memo” line, give online at www.ogumc.org, or through text-to-give.
