Adding Fractions With The Same Denominator
Adding Fractions with the same denominator is way easier then when they have different denominators because you just take the two fractions and add the two top numbers and then leave the denominator as it is.... like this

Adding Fractions With Different Denominators
Adding fractions with different denominators are hard because you have to find the common denominator with a written chart that you can draw up real quick. First draw a sideways T chart and then put one of the denominators on the top and the other on the bottom.... like thisIn this case the common denominator is 20

Common DenominatorsOnce you have the common denominator you have to times the top number by the number of times it took to get that common denominator.... for example let’s say that the common denominator in this case is 20 and the denominators you started out with are 5 and 10, then you would have to times the numerators depending on how many times it took you to find the common denominator....like this

Subtracting Fractions With the Same Denominator
Subtracting fractions with the same denominator is easy because you just have to subtract the numerators (top numbers) and leave the denominators (bottom numbers) as they are.... like this

Subtracting Fractions With Different Denominators
Subtracting fractions with different denominators is quite hard because their is a step to step process that you have to follow and it’s not exactly a piece of cake

Subtracting Fractions With Different DenominatorsStep to Step Process
1. First find the common denominator which I explained how to do earlier2. Then you have to times the top number by the number of times it took you to find the common denominator, then you have your answer3. For experts you can simplify it if you want
