Time to pick your brackets for March Madness! And we will always take the luck of the Irish! In February, Sochi hosted the 2014 Winter Olympics. In the Olympic games, athletes receive recognition for months and years of hard work. As athletes achieved success in the games, Nudo achieved early success from much of the hard work from last year. Incoming orders for the month of February were up over 20%. But, as in multi-event games where you move on to the next round, the medal isn’t earned until you complete the final event. We will continue to work through the remainder of the year to retain and build upon our early lead. In February we continued our focus on sales growth and market penetration with development of new literature and updates to our web site. The new GroundBreaker and Sign literature will be distributed in early March. We also successfully completed key independent external tests for Endurex and EnduroBond. And, we have several examples of where Challenger Selling techniques aided our clients in gaining broader perspective of potential solutions to problems that they may not have known existed. We now move to March Madness where 68 teams will compete for the crown of NCAA basketball. As the month progresses, teams are selected, and brackets are developed, the competitive adrenalin will begin to flow at arenas around the country. Nudo will be using this time to gear up for the construction season. Given the cold, harsh winter that most of America has encountered this year, we are looking for robust, albeit slightly delayed construction growth in 2014. Finally, NASCAR began its 36 race season on February 23 rd . Nudo’s Business Development team began their 52 week season in January and cars are jockeying for position. See the back page of the newsletter for the Leader Board and race stats at the end of the second lap. Everyone is a winner when each territory exceeds 100%. While Baseball is still a couple of months away, check out the score of Nudo Operations at Nudo Field, also shown on the back page. All Nudo teams are off to a good start! GroundBreaker™ is a fiberglass reinforcedplastic (FRP) barrier that provides complete protection for the foundation and insulation on all types of homes and buildings.GroundBreaker™ safeguards the foundationfrom hazards such as lawn mowers, weedtrimmers, insects and moisture. After all, since the weight of the house rests uponthe foundation, protecting it should be of utmost importance! Foundation Barriers have been a part of the Nudo product offering for over fifteen years. Last year we sold close to a million square feet of this to distributors who then sold it to contractors for home construction use. Thousands of homes each year rely upon our foundation barrier to protect their foundations. Our imaging and promotion of this product needed refreshing, and our new literature and packaging has been enhanced to better reflect the features and function and is now being distributed just in time for construction season.

Nudo began marketing sign panels over 25 years ago. No doubt, millions of signs have been produced around the world using Nudo sign material. Last year alone we produced more than two million square feet of sign panels. Our sign panels are generally sold to distributors around the country, who in turn distribute to sign shops who actually do the printing, assembly, and installation of signs. As Nudo runs out of inventory of existing literature,

new literature is developed that portrays a consistent, professional theme. The new sign literature is updated to show our Sign Panel line, and also reflects all Features, Benefits, Specifications, and Color Options. The web site has been updated and

literature will be shipped out in early March. Congrats to Mark, Marla, Chris, Tony, Len and the HPR Marketing team for another great piece of literature!

Missy Davis' daughter Madysen must have heard that Nudo just successfully completed hurricane testing on a specially designed Endurex panel. For her sixth grade science project she was challenged to build a model building that was earthquake proof. Well, we haven't gone quite that far! But, we are happy that within the last two weeks Nudo successfully passed the hurricane test that requires the panel to withstand a 2'x4' board to be hurled at the panel at a speed of 34 mph without penetrating the panel. And, we are also proud of Madysen, and pleased that she chose Nudo for her project. Way to go, Madysen! Way to go Nudo team on the successful hurricane test, as this will open up new markets for us!

Let’s Go Team!High Standard and Nudo Springfield continue to work closely together to achieve success. Chip Mann recently quoted a very nice job for Nudo Springfield. Matt Dooley re-built the shear for Jaffrey, saving thousands of dollars. Keep up the teamwork!

Ice, Snow, Floods-- work goes on at Nudo!Wow! We have had it all this winter!! Everyone will be

so excited when Spring comes!

THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Bagging It!One of Nudo's product offerings is rivets used as fasteners with our products. Nudo has been producing rivets for more than 20 years, and we produce over 25 million rivets each year. Many of these rivets are packaged in plastic bags in quantities of 50, 100, etc. and the bags will have Nudo's name on it and in many cases the name of the customer who will be selling these. Previously, the bagging was a two step process--fill the rivets in the bags with the correct count; then prick a hole in the bag to release the air, and then staple a uniquely printed label on the bag that identified the quantity count, and the brand name. We

recently installed a piece of equipment that auto prints all of the information directly onto the bag at time of production, eliminating inventory of all of the card stock of the

different brands, quantity counts, etc. It also eliminates the two additional steps previously required in the bagging process. The new equipment (shown above) is positioned between the two feeder bowls of our riveting assembly. The new printed bag is shown on the left, contrasted against our old bags on the right.

Congratulations to the team for achieving four of the five metrics in February. We had no lost time accidents. On-time shipments were 99.6%! Inventory accuracy was 99.1%. Quality (scrap and warranty expense) was 0.2%, all favorable to goal.

ROUNDING LAP #02

A key to our success is the ability to grow market share, expand into new markets and develop new customers. At the beginning of the year each Nudo territory manager across the U.S. had an opportunity to select a car number for the 2014 Nudo Race Season. There will be twelve laps—one for each month. Race positioning is determined by each Business Development Manager’s incoming order performance against his territory goal. Those with the highest percentage performance to goal move into the leader positions, and those with the poorest performance to goal are at the bottom of the chart. Success is measured by each car (territory) being above 100% of their goal. If that occurs, we are all winners! Shipments will sometime lag incoming orders by a few weeks or a month, so we may or may not hit our shipment goal in any given month, even if we hit our incoming order goal. But we should end up in good stead at the end. At the end of Lap 2, seven territories were ahead of goal. Overall, the Company is more than 10% ahead of targeted incoming orders. Congratulations to Dan Wilson, the leader after two laps!

‘ey! What’s the score, lads?
