Share Lent Pilgrimage 2016 Helping nuns serve their people in Bethlehem
Now our pilgrimage takes us to the Holy Land. Development and Peace is supporting Salesian nuns in the Cremisan Valley in Bethlehem in their struggle to remain close to their people. Their ability to provide schooling to over 450 children has been threatened by the construction of a separation wall which will cut them off from the people they serve. Your support helps to provide them with crucial legal support to fight the construction in the courts. Next Sunday is Solidarity Sunday and the Share Lent collection. Please be generous!

EMPLOYMENT POSITION Looking for spiritually fulfilling full time employment?
Please apply for Resurrection Parish’s Sacrament Director. This pastoral assistant position is responsible for the registration, preparation and initiation celebration associated with Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist, First Reconciliation, RCIA and Marriage. Working closely with the pastor, and various teams of volunteers, this person is entrusted with marking the significance of which Resurrection Parish makes present the graces proper to each sacrament.
Deadline for applications: April 3, 2016 Commencement Date: May/June 2016.
If you are interested in part-time employment or volunteer work in Resurrection Parish, please do not hesitate to drop off a resume and a cover letter to the Parish Office. The Parish is always looking for support in the areas of administration, building cleaning and maintenance, site management, communications, audio visual and information technology, and music ministry.
Kids Alive: April 16, Join the disciples as they journey to find Jesus after the Resurrection! Next dates: May 7 & June 4 The Resurrection Refugee Committee is seeking volunteer tutors for English language teaching. There is a long waiting list for government-sponsored language training for refugees, so the Committee is assembling a group of volunteers to assist our Syrian family in learning English. Whether you have teaching/tutoring experience or not, you can contribute to our family's success in rebuilding their lives in Canada. Training will be provided, and your commitment will fit your schedule. The Committee is also seeking Arabic speakers willing to act as volunteer interpreters as necessary.
