MARCH 2016
Spring IntoMarch With PBS39
We spring into March with plenty of enthusiasm.
This month, we feature a variety of new and
encore programs to keep you entertained,
educated and inspired.
Perennial PBS39 favorites include Season 4 of
Mr. Selfridge, Grantchester, and the new Miss
Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, which begin all-new
seasons on Wednesday, March 30th. Surely,
these premieres will help soften the heartache
brought on by the conclusion of the beloved
Downton Abbey series, which airs its series
finale Wednesday, March 9th on PBS39.
We also have plenty of exciting, new special
programs throughout March. Music lives on
PBS39 with Yanni Live at the Great Pyramids,
March 5th at 8:00pm; Art of the Love Song with
the Annie Moses Band, March 7th at 8:00pm;
and Celtic Thunder Legacy, March 10th at
7:00pm. We will also have the pleasure of
hosting Annie from the Annie Moses Band,
Ryan Kelly and Neil Byrne of Celtic Thunder in
our studios at the PPL Public Media Center at
PBS39. You can find more information on
wlvt.org.
PBS39 programming will enrich your life in other
ways throughout March, with special programs
on health, finance, nutrition, and more. Those
shows, plus travel and exploration programs like
NOVA, Antiques Roadshow, Rick Steves’ Europe,
Globe Trekker and This Old House, will have you
feeling well-rounded all month long.
As spring begins, we believe that everything
happening at PBS39 will help to make your days
even brighter.
