DECEMBER 2014 Get Ready For Another Great Year of PBS39 Programming! Before we look forward to a new year, I first want to thank you for the support you’ve given PBS39 in 2014. We’ve had many accomplish- ments this year which simply couldn’t not have been achieved without you and other valued members. Together, we: • Brought the Greater Lehigh Valley a number of compelling new programs including Superfoods with Chef Walter Staib and Science Time • Kicked off the second season of our 4-time Emmy nominated local news and arts show, FOCUS. • Continued to bring quality and award- winning programming to our community that you’ve come to know, trust, and expect from us, such as Ken Burns’ The Roosevelts and African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross (just to name a few!) • Partnered with 33 school districts throughout our region and strengthened art, math, science, and English education for over 110,000 public school students. We know you understand how important public television is, but it is equally important that you understand how important YOU are to the future of public television. As 2014 comes to an end, I hope that you will take the time and help us keep this momentum going in the new year. Your special year-end gift of any amount tells us that you appreciate all that PBS39 delivers and will help us enter 2015 on solid ground. My very best wishes to you and your family this holiday season. Please let us hear from you soon. Sincerely, Mandy Dollar Director of Membership and Development P. S.
