From Our Family Of Smiles To Yours

A Word From Our LeaderDear Patients,

Winter has certainly been in full force in the Southern Tier Region! While I’m sure some of you have been counting down the days until spring, my family has been taking advantage of the snowy weather to get in some quality skiing this season.

Last month we made our yearly ski trip to the Killington, VT area where we enjoyed a week of terrific skiing as well as some relaxing quality time with extended family from both sides. The kids’ skiing skills continue to improve and we could easily be spotted on the hill skiing down together like a trail of little ducklings!

I am pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting our Patient Scholarship Program this year. Our 2015 program is now open and will be accepting applications through June 2015. I encourage any of our current patients or children of patients who are pursing a degree in a healthcare related field to apply. More details can be found inside this issue.

Team Building I bet you don’t think about how we need to get our teeth cleaned, too! But every six months we close

down the office to take some time and get our teeth cleaned. After our regular hygiene check ups we usually hold a group team building activity for the whole team to enjoy some time together.

In the summer we have a staff picnic, but this year on February 6th we celebrated with Lalor Family Dental Team Boot Camp! The whole lot of us met up at Southern Tier Gymnastics Academy in Endwell and spent the afternoon doing obstacle courses, egg races, pictionary, and more. It was a fantastic time to spend time together as a whole group and build our relationships as a Lalor Family. For more photos of this super fun team building event, read inside!

Hit The Ski Slopes Before Winter Ends!The Lalor’s spent a week early this February skiing with their extended family. Skiing and snowboarding are great winter activities that keep you active and are a ton of fun. While the Lalor’s went to Killington, Vermont for their vacation there are plenty of local options within an hour drive to get you on the slopes. Hurry, winter is winding down, so hit the slopes while there’s still snow on them!

1. Greek Peak Mountain Resort is a ski resort, with a vertical drop of 952 feet, located near Cortland, New York. Greek Peak offers day and night skiing 7 days a week from late December until mid March.

2. Montage Mountain is a ski area in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, located 8 miles from downtown Scranton, PA. There are 24 trails, 2 terrain parks, and PA’s longest snowtubing trails. The mountain has a vertical drop of 1,000 feet.

3. Elk Mountain Ski Resort is a ski area in the Endless Mountains near Union Dale, PA. It has a 1,000 ft vertical drop, 27 trails.

4. Labrador Mountain in Truxton, NY is located about 30 minutes south of Syracuse. Labrador offers 22 varied slopes and trails for all level skiers and boarders and has a mix of 20+ beginner, intermediate & expert trails.
